London 2024 – Day 5 : Little Venice & Camden Town
Pour ce dernier jour à Londres, il n’y aura pas un mot, mais deux !
L’un écrit en anglais (par les filles) et l’autre en français (par les garçons).
Today was the last day of our trip in London, everybody was very sad.
The day started when our bus driver dropped us at Little Venice where we took a walk along the canal.
Then, awe arrived at Regent’s Park to do a challenge where we had to interview a person and film them.
At the end of the challenge that everybody had succesfully won, we ate and the rain started attacking us ! And even if everybody was cold they continued eating.
Then we walked under the rain to go to Camden Town.
Once arrived there, we did another challenge where we had to take pictures of certain things all around Camden. Like the Amy Winehouse statue, or five ugly souvenirs etc…
When we were done, we had our free time in the streets of Camden Town to do our shopping !!
After that, we had the quizz of the day !! Where we had some questions about yesterday’s visit at the museum and about some things we had to take a picture of.
Then we were finally able to eat !
After that, we gathered at our meeting point where the winners were announced, the winners were the Big Bens ! By the way our group’s name (« the Walking Dead ») was better.
They had their rewards and a little photo which was taken by M.Kappes (our favorite paparazzi !)
At the end of the day, we waited for the bus to take us home .
This was a very great and fun trip, where we had to socialize and discover other people’s personalities.

Aujourd’hui c’était le grand départ.
Nous avons pris un petit déjeuner, terminé nos valises et fait nos derniers adieu à la famille d’accueil.
Une fois arrivés au bus, nous avons attendu tout les autres élèves puis nous sommes partis pour environ 1h30 de route pour la Petite Venise.
Le conducteur du bus nous a déposé et nous avons marché pendant une bonne heure pour arriver à Regent’s Parc où nous avons, par équipe, effectué un challenge qui consistait à poser plusieurs questions à des passants anglais tout en les filmant avec leur consentement. Les questions étaient par exemple : comment vous vous appelez ? qu’est-ce que vous nous conseilleriez d’aller voir à Londres ? Que pensez-vous du Brexit ? Qu’allez-vous faire ce weekend ?
Nous avons bien réussi et avons mangé notre repas juste après. Aussitôt finit de manger, nous sommes partis, sous la pluie, vers Camden Town, objectif tant attendu.
Arrivé la bas nous avons effectué un quiz où l’on devait trouver, dans Camden Town, tout type d’objets qui étaient demandés par l’organisatrice, Miss Gramont (un robot, un cheval, 5 effigie du King Charles, la statue d’Amy Whinehouse, 5 souvenirs moches, 1 plat à manger qu’ils n’avaient jamais vu ailleurs….
A 14h45, nous nous sommes retrouvés au point de rdv puis nous sommes aussitôt repartis pour 2h30 de quartier libre (jusqu’à 17h30). A 17h30 nous avons encore faire un quiz, cette fois à questions, et nous sommes ensuite repartis pour 50 minutes dans le but de manger. A 19h15 nous devions être au point de rdv pour se diriger vers le bus.
